3.1 Halal

Products described as halal have been declared halal-certified by our supplier, supported by certification documentation. Halal status is assessed at the point of manufacture and certification. We do not independently verify halal status beyond the certificates provided by our suppliers.

Halal certification applies to the product formulation and manufacturing process at the time of certification. Any subsequent changes to ingredients or manufacturing practices by the supplier may affect halal status. We recommend buyers verify current certification status directly with us for any time-sensitive or compliance-critical applications.

3.2 Vegan & Vegetarian

Products described as vegan or vegetarian are declared as such by our suppliers. Vegan products do not contain animal-derived ingredients as declared by the manufacturer. Vegetarian products do not contain meat or fish but may contain animal by-products such as dairy or eggs, as declared.

We do not independently audit supplier manufacturing processes for cross-contact with non-vegan or non-vegetarian ingredients. Buyers with strict dietary requirements should refer to the product packaging and contact us for the most current supplier declarations.

4. Product Formulation Changes

Manufacturers may change product ingredients, formulations, packaging, or certifications at any time and without prior notice to us. While we make every effort to update our website and catalogue promptly when we are made aware of changes, there may be a period during which outdated information is displayed.

We accept no liability for any loss, claim, injury, allergic reaction, or damage arising from reliance on product information displayed on our website or catalogue that has since been updated or changed by the manufacturer.

5. Responsibilities of Wholesale Buyers

As a wholesale buyer and reseller of our products, you have independent obligations under Australian food labelling laws and consumer protection legislation. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to:

• Verify allergen and dietary information from product packaging before reselling or supplying products to end consumers

• Ensure products are stored, handled, and sold in accordance with applicable food safety laws and standards

• Not make representations about a product's allergen status, dietary credentials, or ingredients beyond what is stated on the product packaging

• Notify end consumers of relevant allergen and dietary information at the point of sale where required by law

• Cease selling any product immediately if you become aware of a recall, safety alert, or change in certification status, and notify us promptly

We reserve the right to issue product recalls or withdrawal notices at any time where required for safety or compliance reasons. Buyers are expected to cooperate fully with any such process.

6. Best Before Dates & Storage

All products carry a best before date as determined by the manufacturer. Best before dates indicate the period during which the product is expected to remain at peak quality when stored correctly. They are not use-by dates and do not indicate that a product is unsafe to consume after that date, though quality may diminish.

Products must be stored in accordance with the conditions stated on the packaging. Improper storage (including exposure to heat, moisture, or direct sunlight) may affect product quality and shelf life regardless of the best before date.

We are not liable for any reduction in product quality resulting from improper storage by the buyer or end consumer after the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, injury, allergic reaction, illness, or damage arising from:

• Reliance on allergen or dietary information displayed on our website or catalogue that has since been updated by the supplier

• Failure to read product packaging prior to consumption or resale

• Cross-contamination occurring during manufacturing, storage, or handling outside our control

• Changes to product formulation or certification status made by the manufacturer without notice to us

Nothing in this disclaimer limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
